Feast of Tabernacles in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin, Oct. 14-21, 2008

An independent Feast of Tabernacles site is planned for the Timber Ridge Resort at Lake Geneva, Wisconsin, Oct 14-21, 2008, about 1˝ hours north of the Chicago O’Hare airport. The site is hosted by Aaron & Lori Baker, John & Yvonne Bensinger, Matt & Viola Gaffney and Jeff & Sharon Ledy. Information about this year’s site (as well as pictures from last year and links to the Resort's sites) are on the Internet at www.feast2008.org.

About 100 people, with dozens of young adults and teens are expected to attend the site. In addition to regular services followed by question and answer sessions, there will be numerous Bible studies and seminars planned—some specifically designed for pre-teen, teen, young adults and adults. Activities will include a variety show, a family day, a family dance, Bible bowl, sports tournaments and Hebraic dancing. Several group meals are planned.

Timber Ridge Resort has excellent recreational facilities including: indoor basketball/volleyball, indoor/outdoor tennis, indoor/outdoor waterpark and swimming pools, spa, fitness center, golf courses, horseback riding, hiking paths, mountain bike riding, boat rentals, hay rides and more.

All accommodations are 1 or 2 bedroom suites with a full kitchen and a pullout couch that can be used to sleep 2 people. (There is floor space for sleeping bags.)

No Port Austin Feast Planned This Year

Because of the presently uncertain future of the Port Austin Bible Campus, no Feast of Tabernacles is currently being planned there for 2008. If that should change for any reason, we will inform our readers either by mail or e-mail, as we are able. Norman Edwards and his entire family are committed to attending Lake Geneva this year.
